Do you actually buy the products you review?
Some of them, yes. Others get sent to me by brands. Being sent something has never bought a good write-up, and if it disappointed me, that’s what the post says.
Are the photos on this site yours?
Nearly always. The photos here are ones I took myself, of the actual product, in my own house. A few posts use an image from the brand where mine did not do the job, but that is the exception rather than how this site works.
How long do you test something before you write about it?
It depends on the product. Some posts are a first look, written once I have opened it and used it a few times. Others come after weeks with something, which is usually how it goes for furniture or anything I use every day.
Do you make money from these reviews?
Yes. Some links are affiliate links, and as an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. It doesn’t cost you anything extra, and it doesn’t change what I say about a product.
Can I send you a product to review?
Yes. The Work With Me page lists what I cover and has the inquiry form on it. I read everything that comes in and usually reply within a couple of business days.
