These were sent to me to try, and the first thing I noticed pulling one out of the box was the size. They’re bigger than I pictured. A 24 by 36 sleeve is a lot of clear plastic in your hands, which is the whole point, and it still surprised me.
I had a stack of parts-of-speech classroom posters waiting for exactly this, so I put the pack to work on camera.
Quick Verdict
- Buy it if: you want to store or protect 24×36 posters flat without framing them
- Skip it if: you need archival, acid-free sleeves for original art or photos
- My favorite feature: Every sleeve comes in its own wrapper, so the ones you don’t use stay clean.
- Would I buy again? Yes
Each sleeve comes in its own wrapper
Open the box and the 12 sleeves aren’t all sitting there exposed. Each one is inside its own protective cover. Use six now and the other six stay wrapped and clean until you need them, which isn’t how most multi-packs I’ve opened are put together.
Loading is one motion. There’s an open slot at the top, the poster slides down into it, and that’s it. No frame, no tape, nothing to assemble.

Who are these poster sleeves for?
Teachers first. Mine are teacher posters, and my guess is a lot of classroom decorations come down for the summer. Sleeved, they go into a closet flat instead of rolled and rubber-banded.
The other group is poster collectors. If you have vintage posters you’re not ready to frame, this keeps them flat and visible. I wish my New Kids on the Block posters from the 90s had gotten this treatment. They didn’t.

What happened when I sleeved my rolled posters?
My parts-of-speech posters had been rolled, and they were taking a long time to lie flat on their own. I slid each one in through the top slot and laid the sleeves down. The rigid plastic helped flatten them out in a way that waiting hadn’t.
Every poster in the set got a sleeve and I still had a few left over. Stacked up, they’re flat and protected, and I can tell which poster is which without opening anything.
Two things that matter once they’re in use
- Sturdy but flexible: the plastic is thick enough to hold a poster flat and still bends a little, so a stack of them is easy to pick up and move around.
- Waterproof: if they end up in an attic or somewhere you’re not sure about, moisture isn’t getting to what’s inside.
What I liked
- Big enough that a full-size poster goes in without a fight
- They feel high quality, the kind of thing I’ll reuse instead of toss

What to know before you order
- They aren’t labeled acid-free. For classroom posters that’s fine. For original art or photos you plan to keep for decades, look for sleeves marked archival.
- It’s PVC. Sturdy, and it bends. If you want a hard case that won’t flex at all, this isn’t it.
Questions I’d have before ordering
Are Henoyso poster sleeves waterproof?
Yes. That’s what makes them an option for an attic or a garage shelf, where I wouldn’t trust a bare poster.
Will a poster sleeve help flatten a rolled poster?
It helped mine. My posters had been rolled and were slow to lie flat, and sliding them into the rigid sleeve sped that up.
Are Henoyso poster sleeves acid-free?
They aren’t labeled acid-free. I’d use them for posters and classroom prints, not for archival art or photographs.
Can you see the poster through the sleeve?
Yes, from both sides, so a stack sorts itself without pulling anything out.
What size posters fit Henoyso sleeves?
About 24 by 36 inches, the standard large poster size. Measure anything bigger before ordering, because there’s no give past the edges.
Other 24×36 poster sleeves to compare
- BCW 24×36 Topload Holder: One rigid PVC sleeve per pack from a brand known for trading card protection, open on the short side. The pick if you need a single sleeve for one valuable poster rather than a dozen.
- Sherr 5-Pack Rigid Poster Protectors: Five PVC sleeves with three heat-sealed edges, described per its listing as hard and not easy to bend, so less flex than the Henoyso. Its own note says some surface wear can show on arrival.
- Flojudo 6-Pack Rigid Print Protectors: Six top-loading PVC sleeves with three heat-sealed edges, half the Henoyso count for a smaller set of posters.
Would I buy these poster sleeves again?
Yes. The posters and the sleeves went to actual teachers, since I’m not one, and if I needed sleeves like these again I’d buy this brand.
Henoyso’s 24×36 sleeves are a good choice for storing posters flat, as long as it isn’t original art you want to keep for decades.
