This shower curtain set was sent to me to try, and I couldn’t believe how easy it was to hang. No hooks. No taking the rod down. The rings are built right into the top, so it slid on and I was done in under a minute.

How a no hook shower curtain goes up without hooks
The top edge has open rings sewn into it. Each ring has a slit in it, so you feed the rod through the slit and the ring sits around it. The rod stays in its brackets the whole time.
I’m 5′ 2″, so I had to reach a little to get the rings on. That was the hardest part, and it was still very, very easy.

Who a mesh top shower curtain is good for
Anyone whose bathroom could use more light. A solid curtain blocks off the whole shower, and this one lets light come in over the top, so the shower isn’t dim and the room looks brighter.

Months in and a few washes later
It’s been up for months now, and I’ve washed it a few times. It’s still hanging, and I still really love the chevron. It’s so pretty.
The magnet weights at the bottom earn their spot. The curtain hangs straight instead of bunching up, and it doesn’t cling to me or stick to itself while I shower.

- The liner is 16 inches shorter than the curtain. I noticed it, and it hasn’t caused any problems.
- The top is a little see-through. Someone outside the shower can make out your head through the mesh, but not your body.

Do you need hooks for a no hook shower curtain?
No. The rings are built into the top of the curtain, so it goes straight onto your rod. You don’t have to take the rod down either.
How long is the liner compared to the curtain?
The curtain is 71 by 74 inches and the liner is 71 by 58 inches, so the liner stops 16 inches above the curtain’s bottom edge.
Can you see through the mesh top of the shower curtain?
A little. From outside the shower you can make out a head through the mesh strip, but not a body. The chevron section below it isn’t see-through.
Is the FADOTY shower curtain machine washable?
Yes. It’s machine washable, and I’ve washed mine a few times over the months it’s been up. Unsnap the liner first so the pieces come apart.
What do the magnet weights at the bottom do?
They keep the curtain hanging straight so it doesn’t bunch up, cling to you in the shower, or stick to itself.

If you want a shower curtain you can hang in a minute and a brighter shower, get it.
