I didn’t know wrinkles could hurt. Not all of them, but the crow’s feet around my eyes sometimes do. So when Good Molecules sent me their Hyaluronic Acid Serum to try, I read the box and went straight to the eyes.
The box says it delivers deep hydration to plump the appearance of fine lines. I need that, and some plumping around my eyes would be beautiful.
Quick Verdict
- Buy it if: you want a simple, unscented hydration step that soaks in fast
- Skip it if: you want a serum that does more than hydrate. This one does one job
- My favorite feature: About a minute after it went on, it just felt like my skin
- Would I buy again? Yes

It’s a lightweight, water-based hyaluronic acid serum. The brand says it hydrates and plumps the look of fine lines, and it’s fragrance-free, vegan, and cruelty-free.
The little bunny is right on the box, which is excellent to see. Inside is a nice frosted bottle with a dropper.

Who should try the Good Molecules serum?
Anyone who wants a plain hydration step that fits between toner and moisturizer without slowing things down. If you use the Good Molecules cleansing gel I’ve been washing with for months, this is the serum from the same line.
If fine lines around your eyes are the main thing, I’ve also tried Lorelis Lab under-eye gel patches, which I put on my crow’s feet too. The serum is the everyday step. The patches are the treat.

How does it feel going on?
With my face clean, I started with just one drop. It doesn’t really have a scent, which is totally fine by me on my face.
I really wanted to get it around my eyes. It felt really nice and glided on smooth.
Two things I noticed a minute later
- It soaked in fast: About 60 seconds after I put it on, it had absorbed and just felt like my skin. I could move right on to the rest of my routine.
- Not sticky or greasy: Nothing left sitting on top, and my fingers weren’t greasy either.
The parts I would tell a friend about
- It’s a very easy product to flow right into the routine you already have.
- It felt really nice going on.
What should you know before buying?
- I’ve used it a few times, not every day for months. I can tell you how it feels and how fast it absorbs. I can’t tell you yet whether it plumps my fine lines.
- It’s a hydration serum and nothing more. The directions say to follow it with a moisturizer.

Other hyaluronic acid serums to compare
| Serum | What it adds beyond hydration | Pick it for |
|---|---|---|
| Good Molecules Hyaluronic Acid Serum | Hydration only | A plain, fast hydration step |
| The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5 | Ceramides and pro-vitamin B5 | Barrier support with the hydration |
| CeraVe Skin Brightening Vitamin C Serum | 10% vitamin C and three ceramides | Brightening and evening skin tone |
| La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Serum | Vitamin B5 and madecassoside, richer texture | Fine lines and barrier repair |
- The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5: Five types of hyaluronic acid plus ceramides and pro-vitamin B5, in a 1 fl oz fragrance-free bottle. It’s the pick if you want barrier support added to the hydration.
- CeraVe Skin Brightening Vitamin C Serum: A 10% vitamin C serum with hyaluronic acid and three ceramides, aimed at brightening and evening skin tone. The Good Molecules serum only hydrates, so this one is for when you want brightening too.
- La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Serum: Hyaluronic acid with vitamin B5 and madecassoside in a richer texture, pitched at fine lines and barrier repair. Amazon doesn’t list it as fragrance-free, so skip it if that matters to you.
A few uses in, I want to keep going
It’s easy, it feels nice, and it doesn’t slow me down. I’m excited to keep using it regularly and see what it does for my crow’s feet.
