PlayVibe sent me this rotating puzzle board to try. I’ve always wanted to just have a puzzle going, but once I start one on the living room table, there’s pressure to finish it fast. Then it feels like a job, because that table is for the living room, and a puzzle eats up valuable real estate.
This board took that pressure away.
Quick Verdict
- Buy it if: you want a puzzle going without giving up a table
- Skip it if: you already have a spare table that can stay a puzzle table
- My favorite feature: I can tuck it away mid-puzzle
- Would I buy again? Yes
A puzzle that can wait
Right now there’s a puzzle on it. Most of the time the board is covered and put away with that puzzle still sitting there, and it’s all good.
When we feel like doing a little bit, or people stop by and want something to do, it comes back out. The clear cover lies over the puzzle so nothing shifts while it’s stored.

Who is the PlayVibe rotating puzzle board for?
Anyone who likes puzzles but doesn’t have a table to hand over to one. I think it might be the gift of the year, since I know a lot of people who could use a relaxing hobby.
Need a first puzzle to put on it? The QUOKKA Hotel Wildeluxe puzzle is a fun one. I also tried the Bits and Pieces puzzle lounger, another board for up to 1,500 pieces. That one stands on its own fold-out legs and doesn’t turn.
Do you need tools to set up the PlayVibe board?
Nope, it all goes together by hand.
It came in a very large box, but without an obnoxious amount of packing material. There was just enough to keep it safe, and it did.
The spinning base sticks to the bottom with double-sided pads, no screws. Peeling the backing off took a good fingernail. The red dots on the underside work as guides, even though the pads don’t sit right on them.
The little knobs screw on, and I tightened them all the way by hand. I grabbed a screwdriver and never needed it.
Spin, drawers and an open edge
- It spins: turn the board to work from every side without moving yourself.
- Six drawers: they slide in and out easily, so you can sort however you like.
- One open edge: a lip on three sides keeps everything on, and the fourth is open, so you can slide a finished puzzle off without breaking it.

What else I liked
- A 1,000-piece puzzle had more than enough room
- Felt pads come already stuck on the bottom to protect your table
Good to know
- It’s sized for puzzles up to 1,500 pieces.
