I’m a late card sender. Some years my holiday cards don’t go out until after the new year, so a card that still makes sense in January is exactly what I want.
Decorably sent me this box of 16 snowflake Season’s Greetings cards to try, and that’s the first thing I noticed about them. Nothing on them says Christmas, so they work as a New Year card too.
Quick Verdict
- Buy it if: you send a short list of cards and like something fancier than a drugstore box
- Skip it if: you mail cards to a long list or want a mix of designs
- My favorite feature: the bling you add to each card yourself
- Would I buy again? Yes
Glitter That Stays on the Card
The snowflake on the front is raised, with teal glitter and silver foil, and it’s really detailed up close. These are so pretty.
The glitter doesn’t come off on your fingers. You’re not going to glitter bomb anyone who opens one, which I appreciate.

Who Are These Snowflake Cards For?
Anyone with a short card list: immediate family, a few friends, a neighbor or two. If you need more cards for the rest of the year from the same brand, the Decorably 100 pack of birthday cards keeps a box on hand, and their 16 pack of graduation cards covers grad season.

What Does the Message Inside Say?
Inside it says, “May the New Year bring you health, happiness, and success. Warmest wishes for a season of peace.” If you ask me, we could all use a major season of peace.
The card is a nice size, not oversized and not too small. There’s still plenty of room to write your own note on the blank side.

What Extras Come in the Box?
- Crystal studs: I didn’t even see these at first. They’re little raised crystal stickers, so you can bedazzle each card yourself. I’m going to have so much fun with these.
- Snowflake seals: each envelope gets its own pretty snowflake sticker to seal it.
- Envelopes with detail: they have a little design on them, so even the outside looks finished.
What I Liked
- The quality. They feel like nice cards, not thin ones
- Everything you need is in one box
Before You Buy the Decorably Cards
- There are only 16 cards in the box
- The greeting inside is already printed, so you can’t swap in your own message, only add to it
- Every card is the same design. If you want a mix, the Decorably pink Christmas cards come in 8 designs
Questions Before You Mail Them
Will a 5×7 card need extra postage?
Not if it bends easily and stays an even thickness. A 5×7 card fits the size for a regular letter. If you pile a lot of bling in one spot and it gets lumpy or stiff, take one to the post office and have them check it before you mail the stack.
Are these religious Christmas cards?
No. The front says Season’s Greetings with a snowflake, and the inside wishes health, happiness and peace, so they work for anyone on your list.
How do the crystal studs go on?
They’re stickers. Peel a crystal off the sheet and press it onto the card wherever you want a little sparkle.
Can I send these after Christmas?
Yes. The front says Season’s Greetings and nothing on the card is tied to December 25, so one that shows up in early January still fits.
Other Snowflake Card Sets to Compare
- Hallmark Season’s Greetings Cards: a 40 pack of 5 x 7 cards with envelopes, for a bigger mailing list. The inside wishes you peaceful holidays and a prosperous new year.
- Masterpiece Blue Snowflake Laser Cut Cards: 10 cards with a cut-out blue snowflake design instead of glitter, in a storage box with a clear lid.
- Graphique Traditional Snowflake Cards: 15 smaller 3.25 x 4.75 inch cards on textured cream stock with gold foil and embossing.
Would I Buy These Snowflake Cards Again?
Yes. These are the snowflake cards I’d pick again for family and a few friends. I’m saving this box to send this season, and if I’m late again, they’ll still work.
If you’d rather not be late at all, the holiday gift tracker I built moves each card from to write to sent, with a send-by date.
