Decorably sent these to me to try out, and the timing was perfect. Graduation season is brutal if you’re hitting more than one party. You need cards, envelopes, something to actually hold the cash, and ideally you want them to look like you put in effort.
These do all of that. Sixteen cards, eight designs, four envelope variations, and stickers to seal the envelopes. Everything except the cash itself. Here is what I actually thought of them.
Quick Verdict
- Buy it if: you want a ready-to-go bulk card set that looks premium without the premium price tag
- Skip it if: you need a large, traditional 5×7-inch card or a deeply personal message inside
- My favorite feature: The built-in cash sleeve is the real win here. I didn’t need tape, glue, or any folding trick to secure a bill, it just slots in and the card closes cleanly.
- Would I buy again? Yes
What makes these different from a standard card-and-envelope set
Most graduation cards are exactly that: a card. You fold a bill awkwardly inside, hope it doesn’t fall out when they open it, and call it done. These have a dedicated cash sleeve built right into the card. Slide in a 20, a 100, or a gift card. It holds. No tape involved.
The other thing that sets them apart is the coordination. The stickers match the envelopes, which match the card designs. It sounds like a small detail until you’re sitting at a kitchen table addressing twelve cards for twelve different graduates and everything just fits together.

Who actually needs a set like this
If you have three graduation parties in a month and you are not buying three separate cards at five dollars each from the drugstore, this is for you. Teachers gifting multiple students, parents with a big extended family, anyone hosting a graduation party and expecting to hand out a stack of cards.
It also works well if you want to mail a gift. The 300gsm cardstock is stiff enough that it doesn’t bend in transit, and the envelopes are included. You are not hunting for an envelope that fits an oddly sized card.
How I went through the whole set
I went through every card and every envelope. Eight designs, and honestly they all hold up. A few standouts: the watercolor one is my personal favorite, and the holographic designs catch light in a way that reads as genuinely fancy. Not cheap-shiny. Actually shiny.
The cash sleeve works exactly as advertised. I tested it with a folded bill and a gift card. Both stayed put when I closed the card, and neither left a weird bulge on the front. The envelopes have a little printed design on the inside flap, which is one of those small touches you notice when you open it. I have never received a Decorably product with a bend or a wrinkle, and this set kept that record intact.
Four things that actually impressed me
- Coordinated stickers with real sayings: Each sticker reads something like ‘Hats off to you’ or ‘Shine bright, grad.’ They work as envelope seals or just as a fun addition to the card itself. Small thing, genuinely useful.
- Pre-printed message that isn’t too much: Inside it says ‘Wishing you all the best on your next adventure.’ It is warm without being over the top. It works for your cousin you see twice a year and for your best friend’s kid equally well.
- Variety across 8 designs: Two of each design means if you’re giving to multiple people at the same party, no two guests receive an identical card. That matters more than it sounds.
- Protective box packaging: They arrive in a box, not a poly bag. Every card is flat, sharp-cornered, and ready to use. No flattening required before you write in them.

What I liked
- Built-in cash sleeve holds bills and gift cards without tape or folding tricks
- Gold foil and holographic finishes look genuinely premium, not budget-shiny
- All-in-one: cards, envelopes, and stickers in a single box
- Pre-printed message works for any graduate regardless of how well you know them
- 300gsm cardstock is stiff enough to mail without bending
- Eight different designs prevent identical cards when gifting multiple people
What to know before buying
- At 3 x 6.5 inches, these are noticeably smaller than a standard 5×7 greeting card. Not a dealbreaker, but worth knowing.
- Only two cards per design in the 16-pack. If you fall in love with one specific design, you get exactly two of it.
- The pre-printed message is set. If you want something more specific inside, you’re adding to it, not replacing it.
Questions worth answering before you order
Can the cash sleeve hold a gift card, or just cash?
Yes, it holds gift cards. I tested one and it fit cleanly without stretching the sleeve. Cash, checks, and standard-sized gift cards all work.
Is there room to write a personal note inside?
Yes. The printed message takes up one side, and there’s open space on the other half for a handwritten note. It’s not cramped.
Are the designs gender-neutral enough for any graduate?
They are. The sayings on the cards and stickers (‘Congrats, grad,’ ‘Way to go, grad,’ ‘Shine bright, grad’) don’t lean toward any specific gender, and the visual designs are colorful rather than coded.
Do the envelopes need glue or are they self-sealing?
The stickers are included specifically to seal the envelopes. They press on cleanly. I didn’t need any additional adhesive.
Will the cards survive being mailed without bending?
The 300gsm cardstock is noticeably stiff. I’d still recommend a ‘do not bend’ note on the outside of the envelope, but the card itself held up without warping during my test.
Other options I’d consider
- Hallmark Money Holder Cards (bulk pack): Widely available and a known brand, but you’re typically paying more per card and the designs lean traditional. Worth it if someone specifically wants a Hallmark card.
- BOKS Gifts Money Card Holder Set: Similar all-in-one concept with envelopes included. Fewer design variations than this Decorably set, but a solid backup if this one is out of stock.
Would I order these again? Yes, without hesitating.
Graduation season is one of those stretches where you need to show up for a lot of people in a short window. These cards make that easier without making it look like you cut corners. The cash sleeve works, the designs hold up, and the whole set arrives ready to use.
If I handed one of these to a graduate and they thought I picked it out individually at a card shop, I’d call that a win. That’s exactly the impression these give.
