My sister and I spent a whole day shopping at IKEA, and instead of lugging my big, heavy purse around on my shoulder, I wore this befen leather fanny pack. Everything I needed fit, and then some.
befen sent it to me to try.
Quick Verdict
- Buy it if: you’d rather wear your essentials than carry a bag all day
- Skip it if: you need room for a lot, since it’s slim
- My favorite feature: a three-way tie between the built-in wallet, how comfy it is, and the white leather
- Do I still use it? Yes, for outings

What’s Inside the Front Pocket?
Unzip the front and it opens like a wallet. There are slots for credit cards and IDs, a zippered spot for cash, and another pocket on top of that.
There’s also a zip pocket on the back, the side that sits closest to your body. That’s where I’d put cards, cash or an ID.
There’s room in those slots for an emergency card, too. This free printable wallet card on Admin Arcade folds to the size of a driver’s license and holds your meds, allergies and who to call.

befen White Leather Fanny Pack With a Built-In Wallet

Who Is This Fanny Pack For?
Anyone tired of a heavy bag pulling on one shoulder all day. If you carry just the basics, this holds them. On days the big purse does come along, the purse hook on the HOLDCY back seat organizer I tried is the part I use most.
If you’re paring down what you carry, the LISEN MagSafe power bank I tried snaps onto the back of your phone, so a charger doesn’t need its own spot.

How Did It Feel After a Full Day at IKEA?
Even with everything I needed inside, it doesn’t stick out far. It never felt bulky or uncomfortable, and I wore it the entire day without thinking about it.
I loved all the pockets, too. Everything had its own place, and I felt so organized.
Details I Noticed Unboxing It
- Smooth zippers: they zip nice and smoothly, which is always so important to me.
- Soft leather: it feels really high quality, and the silver hardware looks great against the white.
- The strap: it adjusts, and there’s a little clasp on it.
What I Liked Most
- The white leather. It’s not often I have something in white leather, and I like how it looks
- It came wrapped and tucked inside its own dust bag, which was a nice touch
Before You Order the befen Fanny Pack
- It’s only about 2 inches deep. It fits a phone, cards, cash and some small extras, not everything from a big handbag.
befen Fanny Pack Questions

Is the befen fanny pack waterproof?

The built-in wallet in the front pocket. That’s where to keep anything you want shielded from contactless scanners.
What fits in the befen fanny pack?
A phone, cards, cash and a few small extras. It measures 13.8 x 2 x 5.9 inches, so think grab-and-go basics, not a full handbag load.
Other Belt Bags to Compare
- Telena Leather Belt Bag: a faux leather option with a main compartment, two mesh slots inside and a back zip pocket. You can wear it as a belt bag or a crossbody sling.
- Vera Bradley Ripstop Mini Belt Bag: a smaller ripstop nylon belt bag that also works as a crossbody sling, for days you only need the basics.
Do I Still Reach for the befen Fanny Pack?
Yes. When I’m headed out for a day on my feet, it’s the one I grab.
