ENZO sent me this tea to try, and I’d already snuck a peek before I hit record. The box is gorgeous, but what sold me was opening the sealed bag inside. It smells amazing. Deep berry, straight out of the pouch, before any water touched it.
So I brewed a cup right there on camera and watched what it did, from the color to the taste. The two things I’d want to know before ordering are further down.

The box is half the experience
These boxes are absolutely gorgeous. Crimson Harvest comes in deep navy with a red fox and a few cherries on the front, and the top flap opens cleanly and tucks back in, so it closes up like new after every cup. Inside is a sealed foil bag, so nothing goes stale before you get to it.
The box calls the blend “The Forest’s Autumn Gift” and describes it as foraged, hand selected, and flavor infused. I can’t verify any foraging from here. I can tell you the tea inside holds up to the packaging.

Who should buy ENZO Crimson Harvest?
Anyone who wants a caffeine-free cup that tastes like something. I can picture this iced during the warmer months and hot all fall and winter, so it’s a year-round tea for me, not a seasonal one.
It’s also the easiest gift on my tea shelf, because the box does the wrapping for you. If you’re building out a caffeine-free lineup, my Hiihone lemon balm tea is the one-ingredient option, and ENZO’s Caribbean Rhapsody rum raisin tea is the same brand headed in a completely different direction.
How did the Crimson Harvest brew and taste?
I used a fill-your-own paper tea bag and scooped in roughly a teaspoon. Roughly, because the leaf is fine and I didn’t want to dump any out. Then hot water, and the color started shifting almost right away. At three minutes it was a deep crimson.
Then the sip. It’s delicious. Very smooth, not bitter at all, with a deep berry flavor that tastes like the ingredient list reads. That was my whole reaction on camera.
Two small things I noticed
- The leaf is closer to dried fruit bits than big leaves: it’s fine and dark red, and it slides around, so fill your bag over the pouch, not over the counter.
- You can watch it work: the water starts turning red fast and keeps deepening. A clear mug makes it a little show every time.
What I liked
- It smells as good as it tastes, starting the second the bag is open
- A rough teaspoon was plenty. I didn’t measure carefully and it still came out strong
- The box closes up like new, so it can sit out
What to know before you order
- It’s loose leaf. You need an infuser, a tea ball, or paper tea bags you fill yourself. I used the paper bags.
- The ingredient list includes artificially flavored berries alongside the real fruit. It tasted great to me, but if you only buy all-natural blends, this isn’t one. That’s my one knock on it.
- The leaf is fine enough to spill. Scoop over the pouch.

Do you need an infuser for ENZO Crimson Harvest tea?
Yes, or something like one. It’s loose leaf, so use a tea ball, a mug infuser, or the paper fill-it-yourself bags, which is what I used.
Is ENZO Crimson Harvest caffeine-free?
Yes. It’s an herbal blend of hibiscus, fruit, and berries with no tea leaves in it, so there’s no caffeine. It’s a cup I’d drink in the evening.
What does ENZO Crimson Harvest taste like?
Deep berry and very smooth. Hibiscus is the first ingredient and it still didn’t come across as sour to me.
Does ENZO Crimson Harvest have added sugar?
No. The ingredient list is hibiscus, hawthorn, fruit pieces, berry extracts, and berry flavoring. There’s no sugar or sweetener on it.
Can you make ENZO Crimson Harvest iced?
I haven’t yet. I tasted it hot, and it’s the kind of berry flavor I’d pour over ice once it warms up outside, so that’s the plan for this bag.
How many cups does a 4 oz bag make?
About 37 at a teaspoon per cup. A little more if you scoop light, a little fewer if you scoop the way I do.

ENZO Crimson Harvest is an easy yes for a caffeine-free cup with real flavor, and the only thing I’d change is the flavoring on the label.
