ENZO sent me Caribbean Rhapsody, a rum raisin tea, to try, and the box stopped me first. It’s gorgeous. Then I opened the sealed bag inside and the smell had me before I’d poured any water. I loved the first cup, and the rest of this is what’s in it, how it brewed and the one thing to know before you order.

Who is this rum raisin tea for?
It’s for you if you want an evening wind-down cup, you’re skipping coffee after lunch, or you’re tired of herbal teas that taste like nothing. It also fits anyone who likes the loose leaf routine of scooping, steeping and watching the color change. If you want a bag to dunk at your desk, this isn’t it. And if lemon balm or chamomile is already your nighttime tea, this is a fruity change from those.
What does Caribbean Rhapsody taste like?
I scooped about a teaspoon into a paper tea bag and poured the hot water over it. The water turned red almost right away, and you can see whole pieces of every ingredient in the mix, not dust. There’s a little steeping guide in the box too.
Raspberry and blueberry come through the most, which is what I was hoping for. It isn’t heavy, but there’s enough going on that you know you’re not drinking hot water. I love it. It was the middle of summer and very hot when I tried it, and I didn’t care.

Is there alcohol in ENZO rum raisin tea?
No. The rum is artificial flavoring, so there’s no alcohol in it.
How much loose tea do you use per cup?
About a teaspoon. That’s what I scooped into a single-use paper tea bag for my first cup.
What do you need to brew loose leaf tea?
Something to hold the leaves. A mesh infuser ball, a fine strainer, a tea press or fill-your-own paper tea bags all do it. I used the paper bags.
Can you make Caribbean Rhapsody iced?
It’s made as a hot tea, and that’s how I’ve had it. I haven’t tried it iced, but I think it’d be delicious over ice too.
How many cups does a 4 oz bag of ENZO tea make?
About 37 cups. At two cups a day, that’s a little under three weeks.
