I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had a graduation party coming up that weekend and still didn’t have the card. Having a box of these on hand fixes that for a whole season, and they’re the kind of card that looks picked out instead of grabbed.
Decorably sent me the set so I could check it out. I’ve reviewed their money-holder graduation cards before, so I had a guess at what the envelopes would look like, and I was right.

What makes the Decorably set different from a basic card pack?
You have everything you need in here to fully send out 16 graduation cards. You pick your card, you pick your envelope, you pick your sticker, and you’re good to go. Nothing to buy separately, nothing that doesn’t match. One box and you’re set for the season, unless you need more than 16.
The other reason to keep a box around is the card you’d send when there’s no party at all. Sometimes you just want to mail somebody a congratulations, and it’s a lot easier to do that when the card is already in the drawer.

Who should keep a box of graduation cards on hand?
Anyone with a spring full of nieces, nephews, neighbors’ kids, and coworkers’ kids. Anyone who’s been the person at the party writing a card in the car. If you’d rather tuck cash in, the Decorably money-holder graduation cards are the same brand with a slot for it. This set is the plain card version, for the grads who get a gift some other way.
Going through all 16 cards
They’re all a black, white, and gold design, which is pretty. The printed messages are short: “Congratulations, graduates. Believe in what’s ahead.” “You earned this. Wishing you success in your next chapter.” “Adventure awaits, grad.” “New chapter begins. Follow your light.” “Happy graduation. A moment to remember.” “The future is yours.” “The best is yet to come.”
So there is print inside, but also plenty of space if you want to write your own. That’s the balance I want. Something already there if I’m signing in the driveway, and room for a real note when I’m not.
The envelopes are the part I open first
- Printed linings: there are always details on Decorably’s envelopes. You’ve got the pattern on the outside, and then inside you’ve got another one. It’s a little extra that makes the card fun to open.
- Four envelope designs: so you can match the envelope to the card, or not, depending on how much you care.
- Sticker seals: eight designs, black and gold, and they finish the envelope so it doesn’t look like it came out of a bulk box.

What to know before you buy
- 16 is the cap, two per design. A big family or a whole classroom needs a second box
- 4 x 6 is smaller than a store card. It didn’t bother me, and it might bother you
- I opened and went through the box. I haven’t mailed one yet, so I can’t tell you how they travel
