What does a dog sling do that holding her doesn’t?
The strap goes over one shoulder and the pouch sits across your front. Your dog curls up inside it, against your chest, and the sling takes her weight instead of your arms.
That’s the whole appeal for me. Bits gets to be as close as she wants, and I can keep working hands-free.

Owners of tiny dogs who follow them from room to room. This lets her ride along while you’re up and moving around the house.

How Bits settled into the sling at my desk
When I first put Bits in, she wanted to keep her foot out. She needed to get comfy, so we sat with it for a while before doing anything else.
I wore it at my desk while I worked, and she got calm and relaxed and started to really love it. Now that’s mostly how we use it: Bits riding along at my desk and around the house while I get things done.
The CUBY sling features I use

- I don’t feel 100% safe walking around a lot with Bits in it. I might just be paranoid about her falling out, but I use it mostly sitting and moving around the house.
- It comes shrink-wrapped and wrinkly. Most of the wrinkles relaxed once it was out of the package.
