Hempz sent me two of their winter lotions to try: Vanilla Bean & Coconut Snowball and a mini Honeycrisp Apple & Cherry Chai. It was my first time using their body moisturizer, and I was really curious about the winter scents.
Short version: the names aren’t exaggerating, and I was smelling like winter all day.

It really does smell like vanilla bean, with a hint of coconut. The whole thing reminds me of baking cookies.
After I’d worn it for a little while, the coconut came through more, so it’s almost like vanilla bean and toasted coconut. The bottle is pretty for winter, but I’d wear this scent year round.

Who should buy these Hempz winter lotions?
Anyone who likes a fragrant lotion, especially if you like to change your lotion with the seasons. They also make an easy stocking stuffer or winter gift for someone who loves body care.
I also tried Hempz Winter Mint & Frosted Cranberry, the third scent in their winter lineup. For a gift that smells like the season, a flameless candle warmer lamp goes nicely with the Honeycrisp.
How they felt going on and through the day
Both went on nice and smooth, and neither felt greasy. The Honeycrisp absorbed pretty quickly, and the Snowball felt really hydrating.
I kept getting whiffs of myself all day, and it was quite nice.

Get the 12 oz pump if this is your everyday lotion, and the 2.25 oz mini if you want it in your bag or as a stocking stuffer.

What I liked about trying Hempz

- These are very fragrant, and the scent lingers on your skin. If too much fragrance bothers you, keep that in mind.
