These Fuligent solar spotlights were sent to me to try, and I installed them the day they arrived. By that night, they were on. I put two by the entrance to our deck and two in our rose area, and set them to different modes.
They’re still out there and still working great.
Quick Verdict
- Buy it if: you want solar spotlights that do warm white and color, with no wiring
- Skip it if: you want a mode button you can figure out without the manual
- My favorite feature: I can’t pick one. They’re bright, easy to put in, and every light gets its own mode.
- Would I buy again? Yes
Warm white or color, set light by light
Each spotlight has its own switch, and the number of clicks picks the mode. That means every light can do something different. I have one flashing, a couple on solid colors, and one that cycles through all of them.

Who these solar spotlights are for
They’re for a deck entrance, a walkway, or a garden bed you want lit at night without running a wire. They’re good for walking around back there after dark, or just for pretty decoration.
These aren’t our first Fuligent lights. The Fuligent solar post cap lights with the flame effect were already glowing on our fence when these went in. If you’re dressing up the yard for daytime too, the VUFOZ copper wind spinner catches the light while it spins.
How they looked the first night
I put them out for the first time that day, and they charged quickly. That night, all four were on.
They’re definitely quite bright. They lit up enough of the yard that I could see my dog out there, and I had the flashing one going next to solid ones.
Setup details I noticed
- Snug stake: the light fits on the stake real snug, so it won’t get knocked off easily, and the stake still pushes into the ground without a fight.
- Two adjustable parts: the light head and the solar panel both angle, so you can aim the light one way and turn the panel toward the sun.
- Wall option: the mounting hardware is in the box if you’d rather put them on a wall. I staked all four.
- Test spots first: I should have cleaned up the bed more, but I wanted to test them before picking their final spots.

What I liked about the Fuligent 4-pack
- Each light came wrapped in bubble wrap, nice and protected
Before you order solar spotlights
- Keep the manual. The mode is set by the number of clicks, and you’ll want the list.
- Pick spots that get sun, and angle the panels toward it.

Other solar spotlights to compare
- Linkind Warm White Solar Spotlights: a 4-pack in warm white only, with low, medium and high brightness settings. Ground stake or wall bracket, like the Fuligent.
- JSOT Color Changing Solar Spot Lights: a color-changing 4-pack with two brightness levels. Ground stakes only, with no wall-mount option.
- APONUO Metal Solar Spot Lights: four warm white metal spotlights that all run off one separate solar panel, each on a 3-meter cable. Good if the spot you want lit doesn’t get sun.
My take on the Fuligent solar spotlights
Very cool, and they work well. That was my reaction the first night, and they’re still working great.
